What a week this has been. The world has already been on pause, but this week has multiplied that ten times over. Hopefully we’ll know soon who the President of the United States will be.
No lie, it feels like the rest of the world is watching a movie on the US election. It’s madness. I’ve had multiple conversations with people here in Dublin about what’s going on over there, and by the end of it I’m usually just left shaking my head.
I’m not shocked in the least bit about how close this race has been. It says a lot about the past, present, and future climate of America. Many people are really choosing to double down on an individual who has really done nothing but divide America.
If you haven’t already guessed, it’s “Fuck Donald Trump”, according to the great philosopher, YG. We’re all entitled to our opinion, so I’m just speaking mine. You’re more that welcomed to go into his policies vs. Biden’s, if you support him. But I’m not talking about that. I’m talking about at the core. Truthfully, we know nothing about these men; we can only go off of the information that’s presented to us. However, it’s very clear that one individual has way more scandals and excuses than any President has ever had and yet he’s still in office. If it was any other President, I’m sure they’d be gone by now. Make it make sense.
You don’t have to though. With that man in office, nothing has made sense these last four years. And as his character has shown, he’ll do whatever he can to make sure that he’s in the spotlight until his last presidential breath.
With all that being said, I know everyone’s anxious and waiting to find out what’s going to happen. If you’ve done you’re part, then relax a bit. Control what you can and don’t worry about the things you can’t. I think America and the rest of the world knows that it’s time for change. Hopefully we see some this week.
